The main theme of the conference this November is to exchange viewpoints on smart health; i.e. sustainable health models, which will be presented in a dialogue between Danish and Kosovar officials, health ministries, health institutes, health organisations, patients associations and primary care doctors.

Aims of today's meeting:

  • The key message of Mr. Henriksen's talk will be to highlight the latest Danish Health Reform and underline the effects. This will show how the Danish state has made their health system sustainable and “Value for money” with the limited resources and with the quality that is constant (and not deteriorating due to limitations). In other words, how the Danish state has managed to maintain or even upgrade the quality of healthcare while keeping the costs under control.
  • Priorities in health treatment, shown on an example of chronic non communicable diseases.
  • Highlighting the importance of patient health outcomes, in view of organizing health treatment, drugs, and how it all effects the costs of the health system.
