Smart islands 2018

Krk, 18 October 2018 and Hvar, 19 October 2018

Overview of Full Program

Smart islands

The main theme of the event this October is sustainability in unique environments. It means smarter connectivity, smarter use of resources, making places liveable. This is why we are inviting local and regional government units - mayors of municipalities and cities of islands, managers of utility companies, and companies working within the energy and environment field as well as those working on mobility and connectivity - to come together and share best practice. To be inspired.

The goal of the conference is to showcase and discuss Danish and Croatian achievements and experience in organising and running smart islands, smart cities and smart villages.

The conference consists of four parts – presentations of Danish best practice, presentations of Croatian best practice, top-level panel discussions about problems/needs/solutions in Denmark/Croatia and networking.
